Bio
Brandon Harriman was born in Miami, FL, in 1989, but by the age of two, he and his twin brother swapped sandy beaches for the southern charm of Decatur, AL, where he grew up. An early love of reading had him tuning out his teachers (much to their displeasure) to dive headfirst into the magical worlds of books like Harry Potter.
Brandon earned a business degree from Harding University before completing a Master of the Arts with a dual focus in Youth Ministry and Pastoral Ministry at Grand Canyon University. After six fulfilling years as a youth pastor in Sarasota, FL, he and his wife, Annette, along with their son, Jayce, made the move to Tulsa, OK. As part of the discussion to leave Florida, Brandon decided to pursue his dream of writing young adult fantasy novels full-time while embracing the role of stay-at-home dad. Since then, the Harriman clan has grown with the addition of their daughter, Haley.
When Brandon isn’t exploring the fantastical worlds he creates, he’s busy being playful at heart. Whether it’s board games, video games, sports, or assembling (and inevitably stepping on) Legos, he’s always up for some fun. He’s also an unapologetic beach lover, with a passion for tropical weather, deep-sea fishing, and snorkeling.
Thanks to the unwavering support of his family and friends, Brandon has completed his debut novel and is hard at work on the next installment of The Corruption of Essence series.
